Single Session Therapy offers a way of helping with specific difficulties hopefully in one session, though others may be needed, making it very cost effective. These sessions are usually around 90 mins long in total.

Without the need for an assessment and dealing solely with the concern at hand, Single Session Thinking is a very time efficient form of therapy. This then avoids lengthy waiting list and times for an assessment and then waiting again for a practitioner.

A way to think about Single Session thinking is as a flexible form of therapy, using it as you need it. This means that we can focus on solutions and actionable steps rather than solely talking.

Available face-face, online or by phone, whichever is your preference.

With Single Session Therapy we will look at the specific area you want to address.

I will send some forms out to complete before the session so we can make the most of the time we have.

4 weeks after our session I will call to see how you are doing. If everything is ok then I will wish you all the best and will be here if you or your friends and family would like support in the future. If however things are still not quite right we can arrange a further session, this is why I call it Single Session or Brief Therapy.

This type of therapy is suitable for all manner of subjects, concerns or worries.

I not require you to be abstinent from alcohol or substances (though being heavily under the influence at the time of meeting is going to reduce it effectiveness), you do not have to agree to anything before, during or after accessing the service and there is no commitment required from you.

There is nothing that could prevent you from accessing this service.
