Do you feel that you would benefit from having someone to work through your difficulties with but don’t feel that counselling is for you? Or perhaps you feel that you don’t need many weeks of therapy?
Single Session Therapy offers a way of helping with specific difficulties hopefully in one session, though others may be needed, making it very cost effective. These sessions are usually around 90 mins long in total.
Without the need for an assessment and dealing solely with the concern at hand, Single Session Thinking is a very time efficient form of therapy. This then avoids lengthy waiting list and times for an assessment and then waiting again for a practitioner.
A way to think about Single Session thinking is as a flexible form of therapy, using it as you need it. This means that we can focus on solutions and actionable steps rather than solely talking.
Available face-face, online or by phone, whichever is your preference.

Forest Therapy or Forest Bathing is a proven way to improve our mental, physical and social health.
Proven to reduce stress and low mood, improve the immune system, decrease blood pressure, heart rate, improve sleep and reduce burnout.
Forest Therapy has been found to be beneficial by many researchers throughout the world. It has a sound basis in medicine following research in Japan in the early 1980’s continuing to present day.
Forest Therapy is prescribed by medical doctors in Japan, South Korea and China as a preventative intervention, especially for people facing burnout. It is also prescribed in parts of Canada, New Zealand, Germany and Scotland. Scandinavian countries are researching the effects of Forest Therapy or beginning to introduce it to the list of prescribed therapies.
I am excited to be able to offer Forest Therapy sessions throughout the year. Participants are guided, through a series of activities (invitations) aimed to help you fully engage with the healing natural environment.
The price is £35 per person.

Therapeutic photography is a creative approach that harnesses the power of photography to promote mental well-being and self-expression. This practice can help reduce stress, improve mood, and enhance emotional resilience by providing a visual outlet for processing feelings. Additionally, therapeutic photography offers a non-verbal means of communication, which can be especially beneficial for those who find it difficult to articulate their thoughts and emotions. Ultimately, it supports personal growth and healing, making it a valuable tool within therapeutic settings.
At present this service is currently under development.
For some people sitting in an office space or somewhere formal is difficult and distressing. Nobody should be denied access to support when they need it, especially if all that is need is a different venue.
I am happy to offer the opportunity to complete Brief/Single Session Therapy in an area where you feel comfortable. We could meet in a local park, walk through local woodland or walk around your local area.
Combining the targeted approach of Single Session Therapy with the proven benefits of Minfulness to provide the best possible outcome in a short space of time.
